Capac FLLJr.

Working with Administration, Metal and Soul wrote and received a grant from the Four County Community Foundation in the Fall of 2018 to integrate the FLLJr. program into the schools STEAM curriculum. STEAM teacher Mr. Mark Whitney, together with Mentor Mrs. Antilla, coordinate and run the teams as part of the STEAM rotations. Students in grades K and 1st participate in the Falls session 1 and the 2nd and 3rd graders participate in the springs session 2. Metal and Soul team members rotate to help mentor the teams during the school day. Each session completes with an evening EXPO for family, friends and community members. Students work hard on their projects and compete for awards.
