To the world of FIRST Robotics through the eyes of Capac Michigan’s very own team – 2604, Metal and Soul. Founded in 2008, the team is now entering it’s 19th season in FIRST and has established itself as a driving force in the county, nation, and abroad for STEAM education and careers. The team has been instrumental in expanding robotics in the school district to include all levels k-12. We are especially proud of our FLL Discover (k-1st) and FLL Explore (2nd & 3rd) that are embedded into our school curriculum through our STEM class. All students k-3rd grade are on a FIRST team. We boast 33% of students at Capac Community Schools participate on one of our FIRST teams.Here you’ll find information on where we’ve been and where we’re going.
